About Me

How I started

Hi, my name is Macy and I'm a portrait photographer based out of St. Johns, MI!  I first started taking photos when I was in high school with an iPod touch.  Towards the end of high school I borrowed my first DSLR camera with a detachable lens from a family friend.   My freshman year of college I bought my very first DSLR camera, it was a Canon T5 Rebel and boy was I proud.  I have since then graduated to a Canon 5D Mark III.  I have recently graduated from Lansing Community College with an associates degree in Photographic Imaging.

My goal

My goal as a photographer is to help individuals, couples, and families create, capture, and enjoy memories that they will forever hold in their hearts and be proud to display in their homes and offices.  We are not just capturing pictures, but memories that will last a lifetime.  I love to make people laugh and smile, and as a photographer a goal I strive for is to catch that happiness on camera.  I believe that each picture taken is a piece of someones story and it gives me happy, warm fuzzy feelings to be a part of something so great and memorable.  Taking photos and helping people make memories is what I am all about, because every picture tells a story.
