My parents have always encouraged me to find a way to making a living doing what I love and enjoy. And although I'm not quite where I want to be just yet, I am on the right path and heading in the right direction. I love to take photos of people and I love children. I have a field day when I get to do both! This past week I got my associates degree for Photographic Imaging in the mail! It's an accomplishment I am proud of and I believe is worth sharing!
I got the chance to photograph little Liberty for a quick 2 month session! This little girl is growing up so fast! She is trying to talk more and more all the time, (I mean, she has two older sisters who love to talk and tell stories), she is smiling a lot more, and I bet if her little legs could hold her up she would be running around with her sisters!
Also in this past week I had the opportunity to do one of my favorite things do to in the summer... Be a camp counselor at Wesley Woods Camp! This is something that I look forward to each and every year and is the highlight of my summer! My summer wouldn't be the same if I didn't have the chance to hang out with and be a light to all of the young people who pass through. Last week I was being a light to middle school aged kids and in a couple weeks I will have the same chance to be a light to elementary aged children and I wouldn't trade that time in the world for anything. I had such a fun week and I can not wait to go back soon! On occasion, I do like to be on the other side of the camera, especially when it's with incredible people such as those pictured below. ❤️ Thanks for a great week everyone, you're the best!
*I did not take these photos, the people that did rock!*
I encourage you to work hard in everything you do and pursue your dreams! Love what you do and never give up! Be the light and be change you want to see in the world!
